SASSA Status Check: SRD R370 Status, Payment Dates & Appeals

Looking for a quick way to do a SASSA status check? This guide explains how to check SASSA status for the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, which many people still know as the R350 grant and which is now paid as the R370 grant. Whether you want an SRD SASSA status check, a SASSA SRD status check after you applied, or simply the latest SASSA payment dates, the steps are the same: open the official SASSA SRD website and use the SASSA check status option with your ID number and the cellphone number you applied with. Many people still search for a SASSA status check for R350 or a SASSA SRD R350 status check, but the amount has changed, so a 370 SASSA status check or a SASSA status check for SRD R370 is the right search today.

On this site we also explain the SASSA status check for R350 payment dates, what each SASSA SRD status means (pending, approved or declined), and what to do if your SASSA status is declined. If you disagree with the outcome, you can lodge a SASSA appeal: a SASSA status check appeal must be submitted within the period SASSA allows, and you should check SASSA status again afterwards to see the result. Planning ahead? Our SASSA status check 2027 notes are updated whenever SASSA announces changes. First-time applicants can also read how the SASSA online application works. The SRD SASSA process is free, so never pay anyone to help you with it.
